The Real Estate Agent for Microsoft Surface is an user friendly application that supports realtors and their clients in finding the right real estate property to buy or rent.

You can use the Real Estate Agent to browse through available properties and local information, like train stations, museums, schools or restaurants are presented using Bing Maps. The Real Estate Agent shows all relevant information in a nice 360° interface. Using object recognition and multi-touch the Real Estate Agent provides a multi-user experience for the realtor and customer.

Real Estate Agent is an excellent sales tool for realtors, that makes you present available house in an easy, quick and interactive way to your customer. Your customers can easily compare houses and after selecting properties of choice you create a personalized brochure and print of e-mail that to your customer instantly.

Easy access to categories of properties

We developed a general purpose Panorama-like control (that you can find on Windows Phone 7). It provides access to the various categories of available properties in the realtor's database.

We've implemented a nice filter mechanism that can help you find the houses that you like. Touching the Filter-button brings up the selection window. Selections you make there will filter the property list in real time.

Data providers and multi lingual user interface

The Real Estate Agent is setup to support various language, and it's very easy to add new language later on. Currently supported languages are English, French and Dutch.

We currently have data providers for the French market, Funda for the Dutch market and Zillow for the US market. As with the user interface for the application, the data providers are designed to get data from a great variety of data providers. It would be relatively easy to add a new one later one.

Bing maps to show points of interest

We integrated Bing maps in the Real Estate Agent for Microsoft Surface to show points of interest near the property a client is interested in. In a simple view your customer can see what essential facilities are nearby. The map shows a reference to the property involved and touching the various categories for points of interest toggles them on and off.

Compare items

Your client can bring to properies together into one specialized view to compare numbers from the two properties. The Compare view shows the specifications next to each other and the user can scroll through the list to see what property he likes best.

Layout, shopping basket and brochures

The look and feel of the application is highly customizable. You can add your own background, language, data provider and look and feel for the brochures that clients can create.

Your client will select a number of properties to put in the shopping basket. Based on that selection a nice, personalized brochure can be printed or send via e-mail to the customers email box. The layour of the brochure is fully customizable to the look and feel you use for your own brochures.

Featured properties

You have full control over featured items that are highlighted in the list of properties. By using a special stamp (using object recognition) you can literally stamp on a detail view of a property to add it to the list of featured properties.
